IN THE TRADITION OF LIGIER SINGLE-SEATERS
The Ligier JS F422 is the latest in a line of single-seaters designed and produced by Ligier. After 21 seasons in F1, culminating in second place in the Constructors’ Championship in 1980, with 50 podiums and 9 victories between 1976 and 1996, Ligier made its return to single-seaters with the Ligier JS F4, the first generation of F4 produced by the manufacturer. Soon followed in 2018 by the Ligier JS F3, the Formula 3 Regional. As sole chassis of the U.S. Formula 4 Championship and FR Americas in the United States, more than 150 Ligier JS F4 and JS F3 have been manufactured at the Ligier facilities
A SINGLE-SEATER DESIGNED BY AND FOR THE DRIVER
This new generation of F4 has been designed with feedback from drivers and teams. A longer chassis so that taller drivers can sit comfortably in the cockpit. And a lighter single-seater (-40kg) with improved aerodynamics and cooling thanks to CFD.
ENHANCED SAFETY
The Ligier JS F422 is equipped with the latest FIA safety specifications. From the Halo driver impact system, to reinforced front and rear crash structures, increased rollover protection, new Zylon anti-intrusion panels, removable carbon safety seat and FT3 fuel tank.
